Warnings

• Do not under any circumstances whatsoever point this telescope at the Sun – the telescope will focus the sunlight intensely enough to cause blindness and burns. Even observing by projection is unsafe.
• While the plastic telescope may look like a toy, it does have real optics and a lot of loose parts – keep an eye on it if kids are about.
• Take care not to leave the telescope or tripod in a location where it can get rained on.
• If you find that one of the eyepieces is dirty, please don't try to clean it yourself. Let us know and we'll take care of it.
• The 17× eyepiece has an extremely narrow field of view. If you wish to use it for demonstrations, practice beforehand.

Setup

Release leg lock and separate tripod legs

Release locks on legs

Extend legs

Raise and level tripod head

Remove tripod head

Note matching holes

Screw tripod head into telescope

Tilt tripod head into slot

Use

25× Eyepiece works as-is

Ring + concave lens = 17× Galilean eyepiece

Concave lens + tube = 2× Barlow

25× eyepiece fits in Barlow lens

Barlow + eyepiece fit in telescope

Twist lever to loosen altitude lock, then pull up/down

Twist knob to loosen azimuth lock, then pull lever left/right

Line up sights along tube to aim
