SN 2005H:

This SN was discovered by LOSS (IAUC 8467) on Jan. 15, 2005, and absent on December 19, 2004, so discovered rather young.

The host galaxy NGC 838 is at z=0.012844 (NED).

Spectroscopy reported there also indicates this is a young type II.
