SN 2005M:

This SN was discovered by Puckett and George (IAUC 8470) on January 19, 2005. Spectra show it is a young Ia, ~12 days before max, so was selected as HST/UV target.

The host galaxy NGC 2930 is at z=0.022012 (NED).
