SN 2005ap:<br>

This SN was discovered by the Texas group (Quimby et al.) 
in their Coma Cluster search (IAUC 8492),
on March 3, 2005, and absent on January 14, 2005, and is 
spectroscopically very young.<br> 
<br>
The anonymous host galaxy has no velocity data currently.<br>
<br>
Spectrum reported by Quimby et al. shows this is very young type II SN (featureless blue spectrum).
