This SN was discovered by LOSS (IAUC 8493)
on March 10, 2005, and absent on February 10, 2005, 
so discovered rather young.<br>

The host galaxy

is at z=0.025298 (NED).<br>

Spectrum reported by  Modjaz et al. (same IAUC) shows this is a type Ib SN, maybe 1 week post-max.
