SN 2005cr:<br>

This SN was discovered by the Texas group (Quimby et al.) 
in their Virgo Cluster search (IAUC 8552),
on June 24, 2005, and absent on June 8, 2005, and is 
rising quickly, so very young.<br>

The host galaxy 
<a href="http://nedwww.ipac.caltech.edu/cgi-bin/nph-objsearch?objname=vpc+0198&extend=no&out_csys=Equatorial&out_equinox=J2000.0&obj_sort=RA+or+Longitude&of=pre_text&zv_breaker=30000.0&list_limit=5&img_stamp=YES">VPC 198</a> 
is at z=0.021471 (NED).<br>
