Catalog Information

The catalog contains information on over 70,000 objects detected in R or Z band. As such it is difficult to manage, to facilitate its use we have broken it into several files. The contents of these files is described in this paper. There are two sets of Catalogs, one on the central field with high quality data and the other on the extended field where the data quality is poor. You can download the main catalogs below. Please reference the catalog paper found on this web site if you use this data, it will appear in the Jan 2004 issue of AJ. This work was supported by NASA grant DF1-2001X and NSF grants AST00-71208, AST 00-84816, and AST 99-83783

Mask File

Here is a list of regions around bright stars which have been masked out of the catalog. These masks were generated from a list of objects brighter than R=15.5 in the USNOA-2.0 in the imaging area. As such some of the masks may be centered off of the images. The file is formatted as follows:

ColumnContents
1 RA
2 DEC
3 x position on image
4 y position on image
5 R magnitude in USNO-A2.0
6 B magnitude in USNO-A2.0
7 radius of mask in arcseconds
