I graduated with my doctorate in astrophysics from Caltech in 2020. My thesis advisor was Evan Kirby. My thesis focused on the chemical enrichment of galaxies in order to discover where the heaviest elements are created, as you can see in my recent paper. I measured the heavy isotope abundances of red giant stars in nearby dwarf spheroidal galaxies and globular clusters. Early in graduate school, I studied transients with the intermediate Palomar Transient Factory (iPTF) and worked on instrumentaion with the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF).
