	Know where the Annuar Reviews and IAU Symposia are.

	Read GKK Chaps. 1, 11, and 15.

	Read BT Chap. 1.

	Read MB Chap. 1, and also Chaps. 2 and 3, if you need to 
	refresh your astronomical background.


For Monday, Jan. 13:

	Read GKK Chap. 7.

	Skim through BT enough to know what's in it.


For Thursday, Jan. 16:

	Read GKK Chap. 4.

	Skim through MB Chap. 9.


Thereafter:

	Whatever Shridar and Shri suggest to you.

	Look at some of the reviews referenced in the class.
