You should take this class P/F.  If you attend you will P.  If the P/F 
scheme creates administrative problems for you, please let me know.

In order to earn the credit, you are expected to:

- Read the assignments (make some notes, huh)

- Discuss them in the class.  If you are inadequtely interactive (in my 
  opinion) you will have to give a public talk on one of the subjects near 
  the end of the term.  Possibly in a journal club slot.

- You must attend the weekly discussion sessions.  If you miss one without 
  a suitable excuse (e.g., medical; a credibly documented abduction by the 
  aliens; etc.) you are required to submit within a week a written report 
  on the assigned readings, of no less than 3 single-spaced pages of text.  
  This report will be read aloud to the rest of the class the next time, 
  so it better be good.
