Attenuation
A channelizer attenuation (0-31db).
- Input Format:
- An integer number of decibels
of attenuation over the range 0 to 31.
- Use with do-loops:
- When an Attenuation variable is used as the dependent variable of a
do-loop, the associated loop increment is
specified as an Integer constant.
- Examples:
- The following example sets the attenuation that is inserted into
the signal paths of all correlator input channels to 12db.
attenuate all, all, 12
- Context:
- The signal levels at the correlator inputs are determined by
the settings of attenuators in the channelizer module. These
attenuators can insert between 0 and 31 decibels, programable in
1db steps. The
Attenuator datatype is used by the attenuate command for specifying the
inserted attenuation of one or more correlator inputs.
