camera number
Select one of the optical telescope cameras for optical pointing.
- Mandatory Arguments:
-
Camera number
- The number of the camera to be selected.
Example:
The following example tells the tracker to switch on the primary
optical pointing camera along with its optical pointing model.
camera 0
Context:
The CBI telescope possesses a number of optical telescopes with
accompanying optical cameras. These are mounted on different
parts of the telescope to allow us to see if the measured optical
pointing model depends on local distortions or is global to the
telescope mount. When a new camera is selected, its output is
displayed on the camera monitor in the control room and its
optical pointing model is selected.
Note that the flexure, encoder zero points, and the model tilts
are common to both the optical and radio pointing models, so
switching cameras also effects radio pointing.
The TV angle, used by the cbiviewer optical-pointing window, and
the tv_offset command, is also
dependent on the camera, so the appropriate angle is switched in
along with the camera. See the documentation of the tv_angle command for how to set this up
individually for each camera.
