That's me and my wife, Marcia Brown. She's an artist -- a printmaker, to be exact. She completed her Master of Fine Art degree in Printmaking, at Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, Virginia.
I am currently on the staff in the Astronomy Department at Caltech, where I manage the department's computer systems and engage in astronomy research activities. I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Space Physics & Astronomy at Rice University.
Current Research: Optical Fabry-Perot studies of galactic winds, superbubbles, and dwarf starburst galaxies. (CV, Postscript CV; publications list)
