LSR1826+3014 is a high proper motion star and probably fairly nearby. Photometry could confirm this by determining the color (V-I) and the V magnitude (giving M_v). Calypso has acquired the data required to do this.
- Results: ``Discovery of an M8.5 Dwarf with Proper Motion mu = 2.38" per Year'' Lepine, Rich, Neill, Caulet, and Shara 2002 in ApJLetters (PDF).
- Photometry: Photometry with Calypso taken in B, V, R, and I bands.
- Spectroscopy: Spectra taken at MDM and at Lick.
