Celebrating 75 Years of Discovery

Palomar Science Meeting

1 – 3 June 2023

Palomar Observatory and Cahill Center for Astronomy & Astrophysics, Caltech

3 June 2023 is the 75th anniversary of Palomar Observatory/Hale Telescope dedication; 29 September 2023 is the 75th anniversary of first light for the Samuel Oschin Telescope.

Celebrating the observatory's 75 years of discovery, the Palomar Science Meeting 2023 (PSM2023, 1 – 3 June) will be a forum for all Palomar astronomers and constituencies to share and discuss their results involving Palomar data. We anticipate an exciting program of invited and contributed presentations. Sessions on 1-2 June will be held in the Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics on the Caltech campus in Pasadena. An additional session on 3 June will be held onsite at Palomar Observatory in NE San Diego County.

PSM2023 Registration is now closed.

PSM2023 will support live streaming and recorded video for the Pasadena (01-02 June) sessions. Please see the 'livestream' link in the left navigation menu.
