Guided Tours (Jun 10 – Oct 29, 2023)

Guided 1hr-long tours of the 200-inch Hale Telescope are offered on the weekends summer through fall. Limited-availalbility tickets are required. Tour presentations are unsuitable for children under 5 years of age.

• Days: Saturdays and Sundays between June 10 and October 29, 2023
• Times: 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:00 pm
• Tickets: Adults $5, children (5-12) and seniors (65+) $3, sold in the gift shop (Visitor Center/Museum), max 6 per customer
• Meeting point: NW side of the Hale dome (left of the large service doors)

Greenway Talks Series

During the winter months we offer a series of weekend talks for our visitors at the Visitor Center/Museum. These talks typically focus on observatory history or current astronomy research, and are given by observatory staff, docents, or visiting astronomers. Free admission.
