However, some galaxies live in the much emptier spaces between cosmic filaments, called cosmic voids. By comparing the chemical makeup of void galaxies and filament galaxies, we can learn about how galaxies' environments shape their formation and evolution. <br><br> <img src="%ATTACHURLPATH%/20200508V.jpg" alt="20200508V.jpg" width="768" height="1024" />
